What are the financial arrangements?

Financial Arrangements

Wellington Day School desires to have a friendly financial relationship with all parents.  We will try to respond to your needs and hope you will honor our rules as well.  Please see our current schedule of fees.

  • Tuition is due on or before the first of each month, late fees will be assessed on the sixth (the 6th).
  • Extra after school days will be billed from the 20th to the 20th of each month.
  • Tuition deductions will only be made for absences of 10 successive days or more.
  • Pick-up times are 2:45pm and 6:00pm, depending on your child's schedule.  Parents picking up children after their scheduled time will be assessed a late fee.
  • Wellington will provide monthly tuition stattements for parents.  These statements (or bills) will be available for pickup on the 1st of each month.
  • Please address all financial and scheduling concerns to Celia Sullivan.  The best time to reach her is 7:30-8:45am or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
  • Please be aware that delinquent accounts are referred to collection.

Financial Responsibility - To all parents - thank you for being so responsible with your monthly tuition payments.  Your efforts lay the groundwork for every effort we make at school.

We must be clear though, custodial parents have ultimate financial responsibility for al tuition payment.  Wellington is not able to act as a liaison between parents of different households.  We are happy to do separate billing to each parent, but ultimately, teh parent with primary custody enrolled their student; they are financially responsible.  In joint custody circumstances, both parents share financial responsibility.

Scholarships - Wellington Day School is no longer able to offer full scholarships.  We do try to make a $12/hr work/trade option available to parents who believe in excellent education and are willing to help us provide it.

Work/trade jobs are arranged directly with the school Director.  Your work/trade hours need to be turned in each month and these hours will be taken off of your monthly bill.  Any remaining tuition still must be paid on time.

Tuition Raises

We are sorry to say, but a raise in tuition is required every year or two; the cost of living is always going up.  Please be aware that tuition increases are made in the month of September only.
