How can I help my child succeed?

Parent Responsibilities Which Yeild Success

Parents please:

  • Establish a routine bedtime (7:00, 8:00, 9:00 10:00...whatever) and then hold to it.
  • Make sure your shild eats a healthy breakfast before school.
  • Make sure your dhild brings a well balanced meal for lunch.
  • Establish a daily pattern of reading - at least 20 minutes per day.
  • Have your student arrive on time for school.
  • Make sure your child has personal supplies at school (including replacement pencils, etc.).
  • Be available to help and/or insist that homework is completed.
  • Be a helper with spelling words and play lines.
  • Spend time talking with your child each night.
  • Check to see if homework is heading toward the school door in the morning.
